About Us and Terms of Service
From our founding in 1965, The Jug Shop has been a San Francisco destination for a comprehensive range of wine, beer, and distilled spirits. Family owned and operated, our philosophy combines dependable, personal service with knowledgeable and friendly staff. From craft brands to globally known ones, we carry beer, wine and spirits from all over the world. Whether you need help planning an event or finding the right gift, we provide individual attention to meet your needs. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, please tell us! We’ll track it down to the best of our ability.
Our goal is to ship your web-order promptly in the order in which it was received. We make every effort to ensure inventory accuracy, but should an item be unavailable you will be informed. Please feel free to send an inquiry to: firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding product availability. There is no minimum or maximum order. However, we reserve the right to limit purchase quantities of some items. All bottles will ship in a standard
Styrofoam cell shipper with a cardboard shell. In the event that the item ordered does not fit into standard shipping containers additional charged may apply.
The Jug Shop ships out of San Francisco. Shipping fees vary depending on distance and weight which are calculated at checkout. This site is currently only equipped to ship within the United States. For all international orders, or to arrange orders shipping to other countries/territories, please email us at: email@example.com or call 415.885.2922 (Mon-Sat 9am-9pm, Sun 10am-7pm PST) for a reference to a service provider who can meet your needs.
All orders are shipped via UPS.
Only Items purchased from The Jug Shop can be returned.
In the event you are shipped the wrong item, it can be returned to us at our expense. All returned merchandise must be unopened and in undamaged condition.
Defective items may also be returned to us, postmarked within ten days of your receipt of them. They will be replaced as quickly as possible. Should you return a defective item and we are unable to replace it, you will be refunded.
As a San Francisco business, we offer local delivery within San Francisco City Limits(Monday-Saturday only). Our delivery fee is $15. On orders over $100(sub-total), we waive the delivery fee. We encourage as much lead-time as possible for delivery orders. Same-day delivery subject to availability.
thejugshop.com/store/ attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that product descriptions, pictures or other content of this site are 100% accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
All California state residents MUST pay applicable sales tax.
The Jug Shop specializes in alcoholic beverages. As such, all shipping orders placed on this site must be made by an adult over the age of 21. Items shipped to a recipient other than the individual placing an order must also be 21 or older and may require further authentication (ID and billing credit card information via fax or email).
The Jug Shop retains the right to amend, modify, or edit any content on this site.
We do not store your credit card details or pass any of your information to third parties. We neither see nor store your passwords on our servers.
