BALLETTO CHRD TERESA 11 Its not often that tank-fermented Chardonnay delivers the depth and texture of Teresa's - Unoaked Chardonnay. Its first aromas contain the rich scents of honey, tropical guava, fresh figs and a touch of heady orange-blossom perfume. These more dense aromas lay the foundation and allow the wines more delicate aromas of lemon, pear and honeysuckle to show off a little. Taken together, these rich and pretty aromas create an ever-changing and complex bouquet that will keep its drinkers enthralled. In the mouth, it doesn't disappoint.
Its crisp and lightly tart with lemon and green apple flavors on the front and a lush texture that is both palate filling and because of its balanced acidity refreshing at the same moment. On the finish, a touch of candied butterscotch compliments and enhances the wines natural acidity and completes the wine.
This wine is extremely versatile with food. It is textured and plush enough to compliment rich seafood like lobster, crab and scallops, but also has a crisp acidity and fruit flavors that can pair nicely with more diverse flavors like grilled pork tenderloin with an apple reduction.
